Demanding that the party leadership allocate the Secunderabad Assembly ticket to her, former Mayor of the GHMC Banda Karthika Reddy on Thursday staged a sit-in before the residence of Congress president Rahul Gandhi in New Delhi.

She was accompanied by her husband Chandra Reddy.

Another party leader Keerthi Rajender Raju also staged a dharna along with the former Mayor. He demanded that the party leadership allocate the Yakutpura seat to him.
