Sleuths of the Central Bureau Of Investigation on Friday went to Telugu Desam Party president N Chandrababu Naidu's residence as part of their investigations into the purchase of villas in Emaar Properties by his daughter-in-law Brahmani.
According to sources, 3 CBI officials went to Naidu's residence and grilled family members for more than an hour and a half, in connection with the purchase.
The officials had, earlier, served notices to Brahmani for questioning, and went to her house to collect the information. However, since Brahmani and Lokesh are in the US, the officials probed her family members and recorded their statements.
Naidu had stated that Brahmani has 2 villas in Emaar Properties, and they were given to her before her marriage with his son Nara Lokesh, by his brother-in-law Nandamuri Balakrishna. (INN)
