EAMCET 2012 On 12 May

There will be no changes in the examination pattern of EAMCET this year, and that plans are afoot to accept applications online from this year onwards.

EAMCET 2012 will be conducted by JNTU on 12 May. There will be no change in the pattern of examination.

This was announced by the Chairman of the Andhra Pradesh State Council For Higher Education (APSCHE), K Prakasa Rao, in Hyderabad, on Saturday.

The ICET, for admission to MBA and MCA courses, will be conducted on 18 May by Andhra University.

The ECET, for common engineering and pharmacy courses, will be conducted by JNTU, Kakinada, on 24 May.

The EDCET for B.Ed courses will be held on 8 June, by Osmania University.

The entrance for PG courses will be conducted from 8 June.

Prakasa Rao said that notifications for all the entrance tests will be issued in the first week of February, and that all examinations will be conducted on Saturday, contrary to the earlier norm of Sunday.

The Chairman said that there will be no changes in the examination pattern of EAMCET this year, and that plans are afoot to accept applications online from this year onwards.

The schedule does not clash with national-level examinations, he added. (INN)
