E S L Narasimhan Working As Telangana Governor: TDP
The TDP demanded that the central government recall Governor E S L Narasimhan alleging that he was working as the Governor of only Telangana and not of AP.
Even as both the Telangana and the Andhra Pradesh governments were at loggerheads over the Revanth Reddy note-for-vote case and the phone-tapping issue, the TDP today demanded that the central government recall Governor E S L Narasimhan alleging that he was working as the Governor of only Telangana and not of Andhra Pradesh, too.
Speaking to the media at NTR Bhavan, TDP senior leader Nannapaneni Rajakumari said that either E S L Narasimhan should be recalled or a separate Governor should be appointed for Andhra Pradesh.
Referring to Talasani Srinivas Yadav who had switched his loyalty to the TRS and became a minister in the KCR cabinet while still being a member of the TDP, she said that the Governor was saying that Talasani had resigned. If Talasani had resigned, did the governor not know that the rules mandated election for the constituency within six months? And how could Talasani become a minister in the TRS government without resigning as a TDP MLA, she questioned.
Another senior leader Gali Muddukrishnama Naidu said that Hyderabad was not a property of KCR. He said that the five crore people of AP had as much of a right on Hyderabad which was the joint capital of AP and Telangana for ten years.
He demanded that the centre the remove Governor E S L Narasimhan and ACB Director General A K Khan. (NSS)
