Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister and TDP president Chandrababu Naidu today said that Hyderabad's revenue had increased due to the works taken up during the rule of his government in united Andhra Pradesh.
Campaigning for the upcoming Telangana Assembly elections in support of Praja Kutami candidate Anil Kumur for the Musheerabad Assembly constituency, Naidu claimed that his government had made a significant contribution to the development of Hyderabad into what it was today.
He said that the permission for the 165 km-long Outer Ring Road (ORR) around Hyderabad was cleared, and the metro rail project sanctioned, during his tenure as the CM of united AP. The city was developed with a vision, and there was no city in the country compared to the developed Hyderabad, he claimed.
Targeting the TRS, Naidu said that the party had released three manifestos in fear of defeat, and that KCR adopted opportunistic politics. He added that he (Naidu) never resorted to the politics of intimidation.
Naidu said that the Praja Kutami government would fulfill all its elections promises including offering a stipend of Rs 3,000 to the unemployed youth and creating one lakh government jobs, and appealed to the public to vote for the kutami.
