Deputy CM To Help Resolve Problems Of GHMC Staff
Mahmood Ali also said that the GHMC had got the chance to organize an international conference for the first time in the Telangana State, and that it was their top priority.

Telangana Deputy Chief Minister Mohammad Mahmood Ali said that the TRS government was committed to taking all the positive steps required to help the employees of the GHMC through housing, regularization of outsourcing employees and finding solutions to the other major problems of the employees.
He gave these assurances while participating in the Telangana Sambaralu at the GHMC Head Office on Wednesday.
Mahmood Ali, who also holds the portfolio of the Revenue Department, said that a detailed survey would be taken up very shortly for the benefit of the GHMC employees.
He said that the Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao was very keen on the development of Hyderabad, and that funds would not be a problem.
He said that the GHMC Commissioner Somesh Kumar had briefed the Chief Minister about the vacancies of the JNNURM houses which were ready for occupation. In response, KCR had directed the Commissioner to demolish the walls between every two houses so that the unit would have two bedrooms, one kitchen, and toilets, for the convenience of the beneficiaries.
The Deputy CM requested all the GHMC employees to work an hour extra for the development of the city, and said that every employee must feel a responsibility while performing his/her duties to get good results and to make the Hyderabad clean and green and a world class city as promised by the Chief Minister.
He said that the Government was keen to make Hyderabad a slum-free city.
GHMC Mayor Mohammed Majid Hussain thanked the Deputy CM for his active participation in the Telangana Sambaralu organized in the GHMC Head Office.
He said that the GHMC would definitely seek more funds from the government to develop the city.
He further said that the GHMC had got the opportunity to organize an international conference for the first time in the Telangana State, and now it was the top priority of the GHMC.
GHMEU President U Gopal organized the Telangana Sambaralu in the GHMC Head Office on Wednesday. Mahabubnagar MLA V Srinivas Goud, MIM floor leader Mohd Nazeeruddin, Corporators Shaik Shakeel Mohammed and Mohd Wahajat Ali Khan, and various representatives of the union and employees of the GHMC participated in the program.
