The Delhi High Court on Friday adjourned the hearing on the bail petition of BRS MLC Kavitha, who is in judicial custody in the Tihar Jail in connection with the Delhi liquor policy case, to May 24.
The petition was filed by Kavitha in the Delhi High Court urging it to grant her bail.
The counsel for the ED sought time for arguments on Kavitha's bail petition. Following this, the High Court adjourned the hearing in the case to May 24.
The ED arrested Kavitha on March 15 in the liquor policy case. The CBI also arrested her while she was already in Tihar Jail. The BRS leader, who is also KCR's daughter, filed a petition in Delhi's Rouse Avenue CBI Special Court seeking bail. With that court dismissing her petition on May 6, she approached the High Court challenging the final orders of that court.
