BRS MLC K Kavitha did not get any relief today in the Supreme Court in the Delhi liquor policy case.
The Supreme Court refused to grant her interim bail.
However, it issued notices to the CBI and the ED on Kavitha's bail petition.
The next hearing of her case will be on August 20.
A bench of Justice B R Gavai and Justice Vishwanath conducted a hearing on Kavitha's bail petitions in the case. Senior advocate Mukul Rohatgi argued on behalf of Kavitha. Rohatgi brought to the notice of the bench that AAP leader Manish Sisodia had already been granted bail in the same liquor case, and that Kavitha had been in Tihar Jail for five months.
It is known that Kavitha filed petitions for bail in both the CBI and the ED cases. The ED arrested Kavitha on March 15, and the CBI arrested her on April 11.
