Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has announced aid of Rs 15 crore to rain-ravaged Telangana.
Kejriwal offered this amount after KCR asked businessmen and large companies to extend help to the rain-affected state.
A CMO release said that Kejriwal offered this money for the relief and rehabilitation works following the heavy rains and flash floods that the state has experienced.
Kejriwal also said that Delhi would stand by the Telangana in this dark hour.
Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao thanked Kejriwal personally for the help.
KCR spoke to his Delhi counterpart on the phone and thanked for the financial support.
Separately, KCR also thanked Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Palaniswami over the phone for extending financial help to the state.
