Minister For Health D L Ravindra Reddy, after assuming office, told media persons that he had signed 4 files including sanctioning Rs. 17.99 crore for Rajiv Gandhi Institute Of Medical Sciences in Proddatur, Rayalaseema.
After upgrading the hospital, it will have 350 beds with better facilities.
30 deputy civil surgeons have been promoted to civil surgeon cadre. Relaxing the rules in one file, the government has permitted 250 class IV employees to receive further promotions. In another file, the minister has sanctioned 2 PSCs in Mydukur.
Later, Reddy told newsmen that with cooperation from his Principal Secretary and other officers, he would try to offer better and affordable medical services to the people.
