D K Aruna Has Bitter Experience In Assembly
Neither the Speaker nor the Secretary was available to meet the new Gadwal MLA when she went with the HC order to schedule her oath-taking.

It is known that the Telangana High Court had given a sensational verdict on the 2018 election for the Gadwal Assembly constituency recently - sitting MLA Krishna Mohan Reddy was disqualified by the HC for committing irregularities to contest the elections, and BJP leader D K Aruna was declared the MLA of the constituency.
Aruna today visited the Assembly to meet the Speaker Pocharam Srinivas Reddy and Legislature Secretary Narasimha Charyulu to hand over the order copy of the HC and request them to take steps for holding the oath-taking ceremony for her.
However, she had a bitter experience and was in for a shock as both the Speaker and the Secretary were unavailable to meet her.
Aruna said, "The judgement came on August 24, when I came to meet the Speaker with a copy of the order, neither he nor the Legislature Secretary was present. I had called both of them last evening and even sent a message, and they had asked me to come down today. But after that, the Secretary, who comes to the Assembly every day, did not come today for some reason. There is a suspicion that there may be some kind of pressure on him from the State government. It is sad that the duo who asked me to visit the Assembly are not there. We have given a copy of the court order in the Speaker's office. The verdict should be implemented using the powers vested in the Assembly Speaker."
Commenting on the judgement, Aruna lamented that it took her four years to get the verdict in her favour, and that she had lost four years of time to develop her constituency.
Will meet CEC: Raghunandan Rao
Meanwhile, BJP MLA Raghunandan Rao, who accompanied Arune to Assembly, said that they would meet the Chief Election Commissioner of India on Monday and urge him to declare her as an MLA. He said that the court verdict needed to be strictly implemented to protect democracy.
