Uncertainty prevails over the second one-day international (ODI) match between India and the West Indies, which is to be held at the ACA-VDCA Stadium in Visakhapatnam on November 24.
Though the cyclonic storm, Helen, is likely to cross the south Andhra coast on Friday, the Meteorology Department has predicted heavy to heavy rainfall in several coastal areas.
Visakhapatnam and other north coastal districts have been receiving heavy rainfall since Thursday night.
Though the ACA-VDCA stadium has facilities to drain out water, it will be difficult to conduct the match if it continues to rain on November 24.
Both the teams will arrive in Visakhapatnam on Saturday, and will participate in practice sessions. Cricket fans are praying for clear skies on Sunday, to be able watch the crucial match. India already leads the ODI series, with 1-0 against West Indies. (INN)
