Criminal Case Filed Against Devisri Prasad

The director produced a private album titled O Pari which reportedly contains obscene dances to Hare Rama Hare Krishna mantras.
Hyderabad | 4th November 2022
The CCS Cyber Crime Police have registered a case against Tollywood music director Devisri Prasad following a complaint from Hindu associations and Karate Kalyanis, who alleged that the director had produced a private album titled O Pari which contained obscene dances to Hare Rama Hare Krishna mantras.

Cyber Crime ACP K V M Prasad said that further steps would be taken against the music director after obtaining legal opinion.

Devisri Prasad is a popular Telugu film industry music director who has provided the music for many hit films. Prasad has also composed non-film music recently. The music video for O Pari was launched by Bollywood star Ranveer Singh. O Pari was not only composed by Prasad, he also sang it. The song reportedly contains chants of Hare Rama and Hare Krishna intermittently, and that appears to have drawn the displeasure of the complainants.
