CPM State Secretary Thammineni Veerabhadram today alleged that the formation of new districts in Telangana was merely a pre-election propaganda.
Speaking to the media on Friday, Veerabhadram said that although the CPM party welcomed the move, the government's intentions are to give TRS an edge over other parties even in constituencies that it could not win.
He also alleged that the TRS had failed to focus on the assurances it made during elections.
He slammed KCR for criticizing the CPM's "Maha Padayatra" as even leaders like Kodandaram, as per Veerabhadram, had welcomed it.
He pointed that the CM had an alliance with the the CPM during the 2004 and 2009 elections, and asked him the reason behind his "bitter feelings" toward the Party at present, and said that the CPM still appreciated the TRS for fighting for a separate Telangana.
