The officials have arranged 14 tables with a six-feet distance between them following the coronavirus protocols, to count the votes.
The counting will be done in the presence of agents of the political parties in the fray, and with CC camera surveillance and tight security in place.
Of the 23 candidates competing for the seat, the main fight is between three candidates - the TRS' Solipeta Sujatha, the BJP's Raghunandan Rao and the Congress' Ch Srinivas Reddy.
It is likely that the TRS will retain the seat. TRS leaders claim that they will win with the seat by a majority of 1 lakh votes, and that the BJP and the Congress candidates would lose their deposits.
