Mahesh Babu Salutes Telangana Police, They Respond
The Telugu movie star expressed his appreciation for the efforts of the Telangana Police to implement the lockdown, and received grateful responses from the top brass.

Telugu movie star Mahesh Babu on Thursday expressed his appreciation for the efforts of the Telangana Police to implement the lockdown in the state.
He tweeted, "I want to take this moment to wholeheartedly thank the Telangana police force for spearheading the battle against COVID-19. Their relentless hard work is absolutely outstanding. Immense gratitude for safeguarding our lives and the health of our families during these most challenging times (sic)."
IndiaGlitz reported that the Telangana police responded to his words of praise. DGP Mahender Reddy tweeted, "Certainly your words will strengthen our morale @ this crisis & it made us feel proud being in #ServiceToTheSociety. A word of appreciation is enough, a smile on receiving face is enough,for everyone whoever is risking their lives to save someone from risk. #WeShallOvercomeCorona (sic)"
And IG Swati Lakra tweeted, "Thank you Mahesh Babu garu @urstrulyMahesh for your encouraging words. Grateful for supporting our effort to ensure a proper #lockdown to fight #COVID2019 #StayHomeStaySafe (sic)"
