Telugu Desam Telangana Forum leader Motkupalli Narasimhulu on Wednesday alleged that the Congress party isn't serious about the formation of Telangana.
Addressing a press conference here, Motkupalli said that if the Congress party is serious about Telangana, then it should convince its party's legislators to support the Telangana Bill.
However, he said that the Congress MLAs are in the forefront in stalling the proceedings of the State Legislative Assembly.
Further, he alleged that the Congress has a "secret pact" with the YSR Congress Party.
He alleged that the YSRCP MLAs are staging protests in the House on the instructions of Chief Minsiter N Kiran Kumar Reddy.
When asked as to why the TDP MLAs from the Seemandhra region are stalling the proceedings, Motkupalli said that they were doing so to prevent the other parties from hijacking the issue.
He appealed to all Seemandhra legislators to stop enacting a "political drama" in the Assembly. (INN)
