Congress MLA Nageshwar Rao demanded that Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy clarify the reasons that forced him to oppose the decision of Congress High Command on the Telangana issue.

Participating in the debate on the Telangana Bill in the State Legislative Assembly, Nageshwara Rao said that Kiran Kumar Reddy's identity is linked to the Congress party, and his open opposition to the Telangana Bill has sent a wrong message amongst the people.

Referring to the claims of the CM that he is a Hyderabadi, Nageshwar Rao asked him to prove it by supporting the Telangana formation.

Nageshwar Rao also listed out the injustices meted out to the Telangana region, and how it was discriminated against in all the sectors including judiciary.

He claimed that as many as 30 judges of Andhra Pradesh High Court hail from Seemandhra region while only 3 are from Telangana. (INN)
