Congress Condemns TRS "Encroachment" Of Party Office

Hyderabad | 29th July 2020
The Congress has responded strongly to the "encroachment" of its Manugur mandal party headquarters and its subsequent conversion into a TRS office by the ruling party leaders.

CLP leader Bhatti Vikramarka strongly condemned the incident, and wondered aloud about what the situation of the normal public in the state would be when there was no security for an office of the main opposition party itself.

He termed the encroachment incident as quite unfortunate, and vowed that the party would fight it till they got back their office. He also urged all those who believed in democracy to condemn the act of the TRS.

He also alleged that the "atrocities" of the TRS leaders had increased in the state.

Former minister and party MLA D Sridhar Babu too condemned the incident. He said that the incident once again proved the respect being given to democratic values by the TRS. He also said that the local police did not react on the issue even after a complaint being lodged, showing the "monstrous" rule in the state of the TRS.
