Cong Leader Killed In Accident

Khammam district Cooperative Bank Chairman T S Prasad, who recently joined the Congress party, was killed in a road accident on Sunday.

According to information received, Prasad was returning home, when the car in which he was travelling hit an oncoming car head-on.

Prasad was returning home after unveiling a statue of former chief minister late Y S Rajasekhara Reddy at Vaira mandal in the district, when the mishap took place.

He was rushed to the nearest hospital by passersby, where he died while undergoing treatment. Police reached the spot and conducted investigations.

A case was registered.
