The Bharatiya Janata Party on Thursday said that the Congress party was fearing defeat in Telangana.
Speaking to media persons at the State BJP office here, senior leader Dr. K Lakshman claimed that AICC President Sonia Gandhi looked disturbed during her address at the public meeting in Karimnagar.
He said that Sonia's body language and speech content clearly indicated that the Congress was expecting a shameful defeat in Telangana.
Dr. Lakshman also alleged that the Telangana Congress lacked leadership, and that its candidates were dependent on leaders from Delhi to campaign for them in the upcoming elections.
He claimed that the people, especially the youth, were waiting to participate in the meetings to be jointly addressed by Narendra Modi, Chandrababu Naidu and Pawan Kalyan.
He expressed confidence that the BJP-TDP combine would win at least 14 Lok Sabha seats in the Telangana region. (INN)
