Congress MP Komatireddy Venkat Reddy today demanded that the TRS MLAs of the undivided Nalgonda district resign from their posts for their failure to get the irrigation projects in the district completed.
He said that while the Baswapur reservoir remained at the foundation stone stage, the Gandamalla reservoir construction had been cancelled altogether by the state government, and that the TRS MLAs of the district had completely broken their promises to its people.
Addressing mediapersons at Bhongir, Reddy said that the CM had secured the 16th position in the best CMs' list prepared by COT, and that he was extending congratulations to the CM for ruling the state in such a pathetic manner.
He said that KCR should die of shame for securing such a low ranking.
He alleged that KCR had turned a revenue-surplus state into a debt-ridden state, and that he was also responsible for the issuance of GO No 203 by the AP government.
Training his guns on state minister G Jagadish Reddy next, he said that Reddy had earned Rs 5 crore by doing illegal sand business, and that the minister had also built a house costing Rs 100 crore in five acres of land in Nagaram.
He alleged that the minister was also an accused in three murder cases.
Venkat Reddy also demanded the resignation of Telangana State Legislative Council Chairman Gutta Sukhender Reddy for his critical comments.
