Telugu Desam Party president N Chandrababu Naidu has accused Congress leaders of encroaching government lands even in holy places like Tirupati.
Naidu was talking to reporters after visiting the lands on the Tirupati-Trichanur road, on Sunday, which were allegedly being encroached upon by the Tirupati Congress candidate Venkata Ramana.
He accused Congress leaders of not "sparing" holy places like Tirupati when encroaching government lands. He alleged that said if they are not stopped now, they would even encroach upon the entire temple town of Tirupati.
Appealing to voters in Tirupati not to vote for the Congress candidate, Chandrababu Naidu assured them that if voted to power in the next general elections, the TDP government would recover the lands encroached upon by the Congress leaders. (INN)
