TRS leaders today accused the Telangana Congress leaders of conspiring against the Mallannasagar project in the Medak district.
Speaking to mediapersons, TRS MLA G Balaraju and MLCs B Venkateshwarlu and B Lakshminarayana alleged that the Congress was inciting the farmers at the project site and accused the Party of trying to gain politically by mud-slinging at the projects.
"But despite their baseless criticism, the projects will be completed on time," they vowed. The TRS government was trying to expedite the completion of the projects as Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao was committed to transforming the parched lands into greenery with timely waters to the crops, they claimed.
They also ridiculed the Congress leaders for talking about corruption and said that they had no right to talk on moral values. It was because the Congress was mired in internal squabbles that its Congress leaders were joining the TRS for the development of the State, they said, and not because of any carrots being dangled.
