The computerized Passenger Reservation System (PRS) facility was inaugurated at Siricilla post office, Karimnagar district, by Member Of Parliament Ponnam Prabhakar on Monday.
According to an official statement by the SCR, the facility marks yet another step in the joint initiative of Indian Railways and Department of Posts to serve the aspirations of the public.
The newly opened computerized Passenger Reservation facility will enable rail users to book their tickets from any station to any station on all the trains of Indian Railways.
Since Siricilla town which does not have a rail link yet, the PRS will help booking rail reservations and travel from any convenient rail head.
