CM Orders Full Support For Hayathnagar Dog Attack Victim

Chief Minister Revanth Reddy today expressed deep concern over the incident in Hayathnagar, where a mute child, Prem Chand, was severely injured in an attack by stray dogs on Tuesday.
Upon learning about the incident, the Chief Minister immediately sought detailed information and directed officials to ensure the best possible medical treatment for the child without any financial constraints.
Reddy spoke to officials from the CMO and the GHMC, enquiring about the child's health condition. He instructed GHMC authorities to conduct continuous reviews of the child's progress, personally meet the family, assess their needs, and extend full government support. He also conveyed his wishes for the child's speedy recovery.
Meanwhile, GHMC Commissioner R V Karnan held a review meeting along with Additional Commissioner Raghu Prasad, Chief Medical Officer Padmaja and Chief Veterinary Officer Wakeel regarding the child's condition.
The Commissioner informed them that the Chief Minister had personally reviewed the case and directed that the best medical care be provided. He instructed officials to monitor the treatment closely and ensure all necessary support.
He also said that the GHMC would intensify the ongoing efforts to control stray dog populations in public spaces across Greater Hyderabad to prevent such incidents in the future.
