Hyderabad | 27th July 2023
With the rains unrelenting and creating new records, Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao on Thursday himself closely monitored the flood situation in the State and gave directions to the officials from time to time.

The Chief Minister directed Chief Secretary Santhi Kumari to send a helicopter for undertaking rescue operations in Moranchapalli village of Jayashankar Bhupalpalli district where many houses were completely submerged in the flood water.

Swiftly responding to the instructions of the Chief Minister, the Chief Secretary consulted Army officials who immediately agreed and sent two choppers.

In addition to this, the State administration also sent NDRF teams to carry out rescue operations in the village.

The Chief Minister directed the officials to be high alert and monitor the rain situation round the clock in the State.
