KCR Directs Officials To Be On Alert To Tackle Rain Fury
The CM also deferred the Revenue Awareness Programme to be held on July 11, and the Revenue Sadassulu to be held from July 15.

Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao directed officials to be on alert to tackle any kind of emergency following the incessant rains in Telangana.
The CM asked Chief Secretary Somesh Kumar to conduct a review meeting with all district Collectors and other officials to monitor the rain situation in the State.
The CS has also been directed to alert the NDRF and rescue teams in the flood-prone areas.
KCR also urged ministers, MPs, MLAs, and local body and other representatives to be on alert in their respective areas and to help the people in rescue operations and ensure no damages occurred.
In the wake of heavy inflows and flooding in the Godavari and Pranahitha rivers, KCR also alerted the irrigation officials, and instructed them to take the necessary steps.
The CM also urged people not to venture out of their homes unless there was an emergency, and take precautions against the incessant rains.
The CM said that he would review the situation from time to time, and also hold video conferences based on the situation.
Meaanwhile, following the heavy rains, the CM deferred the Revenue Awareness Programme with ministers, MLAs and Collectors to be held at Pragathi Bhavan on July 11.
KCR also announced that the proposed State-wide Revenue Sadassulu to be held from July 15 had also been postponed.
The CM said that the new schedule for the two programs would be announced after normal weather conditions returned to the State.
