Asserting that no force on earth can stop capital Amaravathi from being made a "global" city, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu asked the officials to expedite all the projects planned in capital city.
He expressed anguished at certain groups trying to scuttle the capital city projects. Referring to the recent anonymous petitions sent to the World Bank, the Chief Minister directed the CRDA to firmly deal with such forces through legal means.
"Prepare a comprehensive action plan with measures to be initiated legally against the people working against the capital city. We shall not spare such forces," he said in a teleconference he held with senior officials on Sunday to review the capital city works.
The CM directed the CRDA to ready the legal roadmap by the next high-level meeting on the capital city.
Naidu made it clear that there was no question of tolerating the "vicious" forces that were targeting the capital city construction plans. "They have been trying to derail Amaravathi for long. We should not allow such people to succeed. If anyone has any rivalry they can fight it out with me. Why should they target the farmers of capital city?" he asked.
Expressing happiness over famed educational institutions SRM and VIT launching classes in Amaravathi within a short span after being allocated the land, the Chief Minister wanted the same to be replicated with other prestigious projects lined up for capital city. He said that the vested forces could be silenced by the top class infrastructure projects being completed in quick time.
"I have only one ambition left in my life. It is to realize the dreams of the farmers by bringing a world class capital city into reality on time. We shall not rest till we shape it up," Naidu told the officials. He said that Amaravathi should be no less than a heaven on earth with all latest facilities and infrastructure.
