Making a U-turn on the Telangana issue, TDP President N Chandrababu Naidu said that a majority of people in the state were in favour of a united Andhra Pradesh. Therefore, he said that the sentiments of majority of people should be respected.
Describring the GoM on Telangana as a "Gang of Ministers", Naidu said that it finalised the draft of the Telangana Bill in a short span without giving others an opporunity to review it.
He said that the Telangana formation process should be stopped till justice is done to the people of Seemandhra region.
He said that he would soon write letters to the President of India and to the leaders of other political parties over the issue.
Naidu is evidently happy with the results of assembly elections in 4 states.
He said that the results have "clearly" proved that the people want to clean the the Congress party away from the country.
However, he said that the Congress party would now be on a new mission to mislead the people.
Evading a direct reply on whether he is considering rejoining the NDA or not, Naidu said that he would support an "alternate of Congress party". (INN)
