Centre To Helm Digitization In Telangana: PMO
The Central government will spearhead the drive to digitize the clearances for infrastructure projects in Telangana.

The digitization project monitoring group held a meeting at the Secretariat and reviewed the progress of digitizing the clearances of a host of ongoing railway, national highway, coal mines and other projects in Telangana.
The meeting presided by Chief Secretary K Pradip Chandra, was attended by Principal Secretary of Environment & Forests B R Meena, Joint Secretary in the PMO Shubha Kumar, Director of Hyderabad Metro Rail Limited Somdutt Sharma, Managing Director HMRL N V S Reddy, Singareni Collieries M D Sridhar and other officials.
Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Secretary informed the Central officials that the State had achieved more than 90% progress in digitization of State-level clearances. He also said that the State was progressing rapidly after its separation from united Andhra Pradesh and was aiming to be one of the most prominent States in the nation.
Shubha Kumar promised that the Centre would coordinate with the State government to help resolve the issues of clearances.
Later various inter-departmental issues, the action reports on e-Pragati and the State-level clearances were discussed.
Issues pertaining to HMRL, Karimnagar Iron Ore Benefication Project, coal projects of the Singareni Collieries, Muneerabad-Mahbubabad new railway line, Mallavaram-Bhilwara pipeline and rehabilitation with regards to National Highways were also discussed at the meeting.
