Telangana Rashtra Samithi president K Chandrasekhar Rao, on Sunday, demanded that the government cancel the Group-1 preliminary exams which here conducted earlier in the day.
The TRS chief told media persons that the exams had been conducted under the shadow of guns, and that this was an unprecedented event in the world.
KCR further alleged that the question papers were leaked, and wondered about the validity of the examinations.
He demanded that the state government announce the cancellation of the exams within 24 hours.
The TRS chief said that most of the students from Nalgonda and Warangal districts have not taken the exams due to the uncertainty over their validity.
KCR further raised doubts about the support by the state government to APPSC chairman Venkatrami Reddy despite the many allegations of irregularities raised against him, and demanded his suspension.
The TRS chief further said that ministers, MPs and MLAs were
hauled off to police stations due to the refusal by the APPSC chairman to postpone the Group-1 examinations.
He called the APPSC chairman 'Leakveerudu' ('warrior of leakage'), and cited the instance of the EAMCET paper leakage which took place when Venkatrami Reddy was Vice Chancellor of the Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University.
He also warned that the TRS would seek legal recourse challenging the validity of the Group-1 preliminary exam.
