TRS Scripted History In Medical Education In Telangana: KTR
The minister said that there were only 5 government medical colleges in 2014, but there would be 29 more soon, making it at least one college in every district.

Minister for IT and Industries K T Rama Rao said that Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao had scripted history in the medical education sector of the State by launching a huge number of new medical colleges.
In a tweet today, the minister said that there were only 5 government medical colleges till the creation of Telangana State. However, during the last eight years the State government had sanctioned 16 new medical colleges, and 13 more colleges were going to be set up, to make it at least one college in every district.
"Hon'ble Telangana CM #KCR Garu has scripting History in medical education. Prior to 2014, in 67 years only 5 Govt medical colleges were setup in #Telangana. In the last 8 years, 16 new Medical colleges sanctioned & 13 more to be setup making it one medical college per Dist (sic)," he tweeted.
KTR said that the medical colleges in Sangareddy, Mahabubabad, Nagar Kurnool, Wanaparthy, Ramagundam and Jagtial were almost complete while the Suryapet, Mahbubnagar, Siddipet & Nalgonda medical colleges had already started functioning. In addition to this, the Kothagudem medical college was ready to be inaugurated soon, he added.
In another tweet, Rao ridiculed the corruption charges levelled by BJP national president J P Nadda against the TRS government, and advised Nadda not to be a hypocrite.
He listed out the allegations against the BJP-led government in Karnataka which was slapped with corruption charges by its own party leaders, contractors and even seers.
Sharing the news clippings, Rao tweeted that the situation in BJP-ruled Karnataka was shameful. He demanded to know where the BJP allies CBI and ED were in Karnataka.
