Chief Minister Revanth Reddy on Sunday made serious allegations against the previous BRS government, saying that it had done nothing for Telangana except promote drugs and ganja smuggling.
Speaking at a programme after launching the Katamayya Raksha Kavacham scheme at Tativanam in Abdullapurmet mandal of Rangareddy district, the CM said that the BRS leaders should remember that the Outer Ring Road, the Shamshabad international airport and the Pharma City were all developed in the Congress rule, and that their government had done nothing except promote drugs and ganja smuggling in the State.
"The leaders who said the Congress was finished are now counting the number of leaders in their own party. BRS MLAs are joining the Congress continuously to support Telangana's development," the CM said.
He added that the rival parties had conspired to topple the Congress government, but the Congress was only getting stronger, and would rule Telangana for 10 years.
Also alleging that the previous BRS government had pushed Telangana into a debt trap, the Chief Minister said that his government was solving every problem caused by that and moving forward.
