Union Home Minister Amit Shah today called upon the people of Telangana to bring BJP rule to the State.
He was speaking at the BJP's Jana Garjana public meeting held in Adilabad.
Shah began his speech by claiming that he was happy to come to the holy land of Adilabad. He then went on to lambast the BRS.
He said, "Telangana CM KCR is not working for the poor. He is working only for his son and daughter, and his government is a den of corruption. In the last 10 years, only KCR's family has improved in Telangana. And KCR's main aim is to make his son KTR the next CM."
"For the last 10 years, KCR has also not solved the problems of the poor of Telangana. Farmers, dalits and tribals were all ignored. Due to KCR's attitude, the setting up of the tribal university was delayed. The KCR government did not show any land for the university. And how many people got the promised free double bedroom houses in KCR's rule? Telangana also ranks first in the country in farmers' suicides," he added.
"Meanwhile, the Modi government protected Kashmir by repealing Article 360, carried out surgical strikes and killed Pakistani terrorists, is getting a Ram Mandir constructed in Ayodhya, has given a cooking gas cylinder to every poor woman, and has ensured 33% reservations for women in the legislature. There have been no allegations of corruption against the Modi government in the last eight years. The BJP has to come to power in Telangana to both bring in development and end the rule of razakars," Amit Shah said.
Shah said that a double-engine government for Telangana was imminent, and that a BJP government would be formed in Telangana on December 3.
