The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD) has received Rs. 13 crores as hundi collections during the recently-conducted 9-day Brahmotsavam.
According to TTD Executive Officer I Y R Krishna Rao, over 5.26 lakh devotees visited the hill temple, seeking blessings of Lord Venkateswara.
Rao said that the Devasthanam has sold 14 lakh laddus to devotees during the event.
Talking to reporters after the conclusion of Chakrasthanam as part of the Brahmotsavam 2010 celebrations, Rao expressed his pleasure over the response of devotees to the Brahmotsavam and also his satisfaction on the arrangements made.
Krishna Rao said that the TTD had not received any complaints from any devotee over the arrangements and facilities.
