It is now the turn of newly-appointed Pradesh Congress Committee President Botsa Satyanarayana to face his colleagues' ire.
The Amalapuram Congress MP Harsha Kumar has written a letter to Congress President Sonia Gandhi, enlisting a slew of reasons why the appointment of Botsa Satyanarayana as PCC chief is an erroneous decision.
The letter hasn't been made public, but reports say that Harsha Kumar has written that Botsa is corrupt, and that he is anti-Dalit. He is also understood to have stated that people are losing faith in the Congress High Command.
He reportedly said that the Congress party will not gain anything by making Botsa the PCC chief.
Harsha Kumar isn't the first to open fire on Botsa's appointment; Congress MP V Hanumantha Rao had also, earlier, expressed his displeasure over Telangana ministers getting a raw deal in terms of posts.
V Hanumantha Rao's grievance is that Telangana leaders are having to settle for just the Deputy CM's position, while plum posts like that of the PCC President are being handed over to Seemandhra leaders.
