BJP National Spokesperson Prakash Javedkar on Monday expressed confidence that the TDP-BJP alliance would win at least 25 Lok Sabha seats in united Andhra Pradesh.
Addressing a press conference here, Javedkar claimed that there had been a good response from the people and cadre to the alliance between the two parties.
He said that several youth have either joined one of the two parties or are working for them voluntarily.
He said that the alliance had benefitted both the BJP and the TDP, and their combine would win at least 25 Lok Sabha seats in Telangana and Seemandhra regions together.
Javedkar informed that BJP's national leaders would participate in the election campaign from April 20th in both the regions.
Stating that as many as 20 parties have joined the National Democratic Alliance, he said that the BJP hoped to win the majority by itself, and in case of any shortfall, would seek the support of NDA allies to form the next government at the Centre.
He also informed that the BJP's list of candidates for Seemandhra would be released on Tuesday. (INN)
