BJP National Spokesperson Prakash Javedkar on Friday stated that the Bharatiya Janata Party was not in a hurry for an alliance with the Telugu Desam Party.
Speaking to media persons after participating in the BJP's Election Campaign Committee meeting here, Javedkar did not elaborate on the status of the BJP's talks with TDP on an alliance. However, he said that the media appeared to have more information than him on the issue.
He said that the BJP would ally only with parties that agreed with its philosophy and conditions.
Javedkar also condemned the statement of Rasheed Masood who had threatened to kill Narendra Modi. He said that the police should register a suo moto case and arrest Masood on charges of criminal intimidation. (INN)
