The candidates and workers of the Telugu Desam Party and the Bharatiya Janata Party of the Secunderabad Lok Sabha constituency on Friday agreed to forge unity and work with better coordination in order to win the ensuing Assembly and Lok Sabha elections.
Addressing the joint meeting of TDP and BJP workers at a private hotel here, BJP's Secunderabad Lok Sabha seat candidate Bandaru Dattatreyya called for unity among the workers of the 2 parties. He said that the elections could not be won without better coordination.
He hoped that the TDP-BJP combine would win the next elections to form the first government of Telangana State.
He blamed the Congress party for the ongoing crisis and chaos in both Telangana and Seemandhra.
The meeting was attended by leaders including G Kishan Reddy and Dr. K Lakshman of the BJP, and K Vijayarama Rao, Talasani Srinivas Yadav and Feroz Khan of the TDP. (INN)
