BJP Protests Against Attacks On Party Workers In Bengal
Telangana BJP head Bandi Sanjay today said that the party was holding protests in the state against "the continuous attacks" on its workers in West Bengal.
Telangana BJP head Bandi Sanjay Kumar today said that the party was holding demonstrations in all the mandal headquarters of the state to protest "the continuous attacks" on its workers in West Bengal. He said that the protest programs were being held keeping in mind all the required Covid-19 safety norms and guidelines.
Speaking further on the matter, Kumar alleged that West Bengal was witnessing a rule which was aiming to hand over the state to neighbouring Bangladesh. He alleged that WB Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee had made her state into a "Rohingya headquarter" and had welcomed "intruders" from Bangladesh with open arms.
He alleged that the WB CM was working as a "monster" in the state and asked her to change her name to Mamata Begum, claiming that she had spent money received from foreign countries and the Rohingyas on the recent elections.
The leader also warned Mamata Banerjee that the BJP would launch a Kara Seva program in the state.
Commenting on the performance of the saffron party in the recent Bengal elections, he said that the party had won 79 seats which was a huge jump from the meagre three seats it had won five years back.
Kumar claimed that the nationalist leaders of the party were trying to protect Bengal while the ruling Trinamool Congress workers were attacking the BJP workers with the help of police to oust them to continue their misrule.
The communally charged comments of the leader are hardly a surprise considering his history of making similar comments with regard to the Muslim community in Telangana.
