Telangana BJP president Bandi Sanjay Kumar today said that the BJP MLAs would raise their voices even more in the state Assembly hereon.
Also pointing out that the names of both the members of the BJP in the Telangana Assembly started with an R (Raja Singh and Raghunandan Rao), he said that the Huzurabad election would see one more R added to the BJP list (the BJP candidate is ex-minister Etela Rajender).
Addressing a public meeting in Huzurabad to launch the election campaign of the party, Sanjay urged the people of the constituency to vote for Rajender in the upcoming by-election for its seat in the Assembly.
He alleged that the ruling TRS' leaders benefited a lot from Rajender and then dumped him. He said that KCR had done nothing in the Telangana statehood struggle, instead depending on people like Rajender to do all the fighting and make all the sacrifices and then taking credit for their work, and that the same had repeated after he included Rajender in his cabinet.
He also asked KCR if he would resign from his post if Rajender won the Huzurabad Assembly seat, treating it as a mandate.
Rajender said that the people of the constituency were all observing the poisonous campaign of the TRS aimed primarily at maligning him, and said that they would mete out just punishment in the by-election.
