Referring to the tears shed by TPCC chief Revanth Reddy at the Charminar Bhagyalakshmi temple, Telangana BJP president Bandi Sanjay Kumar today said that the Congress MP cried as he realised that he could never become the CM of Telangana.
He made these remarks while speaking to media persons after paying tributes at the statue of Mahatma Basaveswara on Tank Bund on the occasion of the latter's birth anniversary.
Referring to the comments of BJP MLA Eatala Rajender that CM K Chandrashekar Rao had given Rs 25 crore to the Congress in the Munugodu by-election, he asked if there was anything surprising in the comments of Eatala. He said that the Congress had completely gone into the hands of KCR, and that Reddy had shed tears as he was scared of losing his post.
Sanjay also asked the Congress leaders who were seeking proof from Eatala for his allegations, whether they had proof for the comments made by prominent journalist Rajdeep Sardesai that KCR was ready to foot the election expenses of the entire opposition alliance if he was made its chairman.
He also asked the Congress leaders whether it was not a fact that the BRS was giving money to their party to fight the Assembly elections in Karnataka.
He said that veteran Congress leaders Jana Reddy and Komatireddy Venkat Reddy had on several occasions said that any vote for the BRS would be a vote for the Congress.
