The party alleged experts had not been consulted on either of the mega Telangana projects, and that their budgets were being set by private contractors.

BJP National Executive member and former minister Dr Nagam Janardhan Reddy demanded a probe into the Mission Kakatiya and Water Grid schemes of the Telangana government.
Addressing a press conference on Sunday, Nagam alleged that experts had not been consulted on either project, and that their budgets were being finalised by private agencies and contractors.
He said that the officials too had no role in the execution of either of the ambitious projects of the state government.
He also demanded a White Paper on the expenditure on both the projects.
He said that former Deputy Chief Minister Dr T Rajaiah was sacked from the cabinet on the charges of corruption. But who would check the corruption of ministers T Harish Rao and K Taraka Rama Rao who were both related to Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao, he asked.
Nagam alleged that all the works were being sanctioned via nominations, and that the TRS government was resorting to waste of public money.
Speaking about the government's decision to shift the Chest Hospital at Erragadda to Vikarabad, Nagam said that the hospital was converted into a general hospital in 1996 during his tenure as the health minister. He said that it was illogical to shift a general hospital outside Hyderabad as hundreds of patients visiting the hospital would face problems.
He urged all political parties to join hands to launch a mega protest against the government's move.
Referring to the Chief Minister's comments during the visit to Monda Market on Saturday, Nagam said that Hyderabad was already a world class city, and did not need any scientific operation. He advised the Chief Minister not to spoil the image of Hyderabad by giving irresponsible statements. (INN)
