Bhu Bharathi Portal Pilot Implementation From April 2

As a first step toward resolving land disputes, the portal will be launched on a pilot basis in five mandals of Telangana.
Hyderabad | 1st April 2026
Telangana Revenue, Housing and Information & Public Relations Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy today said that transformative reforms had been introduced in the revenue department to provide a lasting resolution to land disputes in Telangana.

As part of this initiative, a comprehensive portal named Bhu Bharathi had been developed to provide transparent and efficient services to farmers by integrating the land, survey and registration into a unified platform, he said.

As a first step toward resolving land disputes, the portal would be launched on a pilot basis in five mandals of Telangana - Kusumanchi mandal (Khammam district), Aswaraopeta mandal (Bhadradri Kothagudem district), Amangal mandal (Ranga Reddy district), Vatpally mandal (Sangareddy district) and Kosgi mandal (Narayanpet district) - from April 2, he said.

The minister said that based on the outcomes of the pilot the government would make the necessary modifications and additions to the portal.

Reddy, who is currently on a visit to Kerala, held a teleconference with revenue officials regarding the launch of the portal. Speaking on the occasion, he said that land-related issues had long been a major obstacle in farmers' lives, and that the integrated Bhu Bharathi portal represented a significant step toward providing a permanent solution.

He said that the portal had been designed from the farmer's perspective, and enabled farmers to access land-related services directly from their homes, eliminating the need to visit MeeSeva centres as was required earlier.

Reddy instructed the respective district Collectors to closely monitor the maintenance of the portal and directed officials to ensure that the general public, particularly the farming community, did not face any difficulties.

He added that the portal represented a transparent system being introduced to enable farmers to access all services from home, marking the beginning of a historic transformation in revenue administration.
