Telangana Revenue Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy today announced that the Bhu Bharathi integrated land portal would be fully accessible to the public by March 2026.
As per reports, the portal will bring the Revenue, Stamps and Registration and Land Records departments under a single digital platform, aimed at delivering transparent and efficient land-related services. It will host comprehensive data on agricultural and non-agricultural lands, including endowment, forest and Waqf properties.
The minister made these remarks while unveiling the "Telangana Revenue Employees Services Association (TRESSA) 2026 Diary" at Nampally.
He said that the people of Telangana had voted for the Congress with the expectation of relief from persistent revenue system issues witnessed over the previous decade. The Congress government had undertaken systematic reforms to clean up and strengthen the revenue administration down to the village level, he said, and acknowledged that more improvement was still needed.
Referring to it as part of the government's long-term vision to resolve decades-old land disputes, the minister said that the Bhu Bharathi portal had already emerged as a model initiative at the national level.
He added that the Survey Department, described as the backbone of land administration, was being strengthened with additional manpower. As many as 3,500 licensed surveyors had been recruited, and another 3,000 would be appointed within a week, he said.
