Tollywood actor and producer Bandla Ganesh today announced that he was exiting the panel of veteran actor Prakash Raj, recently announced by the latter for the upcoming MAA elections.
He also announced that he would contest for the post of MAA General Secretary separately instead of as part of a panel.
Ganesh said that he was forced take the decision after the entry of actress Jeevitha Rajasekhar for the post of General Secretary into the Prakash Raj panel.
He said that he did not like Jeevitha as she had openly insulted the family of Chiranjeevi, whom he adored, several times in the past.
He made these sensational statements in a series of tweets.
He said that he would register a landslide victory over Jeevitha in the elections.
He claimed that although he tried to control his temptation to contest the elections, his heart had convinced him to fight them. Alleging that those who worked as office bearers of MAA did nothing for the welfare of the poor artists of the industry, he said that his dream was to build 100 double bedroom houses for the latter, and that he would contest to realize that.
Meanwhile, Jeevitha claimed that she did not have any differences with Ganesh, and said that any member of the association could contest for any post in the elections.
She also said that she would continue to work the development of the association irrespective of victory or defeat.
