Telangana BJP president Bandi Sanjay Kumar today watched the controversial Hindi movie The Kerala Story along with some State leaders of his party, including Rajya Sabha MP Dr K Laxman.
Speaking to mediapersons later, Sanjay asked the Chief Minister K Chandrshekar Rao and ministers of his cabinet to also watch the movie. He also urged the parents of the youth in the State to show the movie to their children, as it gave some useful suggestions to society. He alleged that ISIS was luring Hindu and Christian girls not only in Kerala but across the entire country, including in Telangana. He said that Kerala had a stupid government and a foolish Chief Minister, with the Kerala CM being a Communist leader who did not believe in the country.
Commenting on the right wing Bajrang Dal, Sanjay claimed that it was protecting Hindu girls from such organisations, and that the practice of giving minor Muslim girls in marriage to aged people from the Gulf countries had stopped after Narendra Modi had become the Prime Minister. Despite that, a conspiracy was on against the Bajrang Dal and Hindu Vahini organisations, with false cases being filed against their activists.
He announced that the BJP would encourage movies like The Kerala Story and screen them without any taxes wherever possible. He also said that he would invite the producer and director of the movie to his Hindu Ektha Yatra.
MP Laxman demanded that CM KCR waive off tax for the movie. He claimed that real life stories were shown in the movie, and said that the people of the State should be careful about terror organisations.
