Union Minister Bandi Sanjay Kumar today strongly criticized Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan for praising Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy in connection with the arrest of Telugu actor Allu Arjun.
Sanjay said that only the AP Deputy CM knew what made Revanth Reddy great.
"Does Pawan Kalyan believe the six guarantees have been implemented in the State?" Sanjay asked.
He also asked whether the Telangana Assembly session was convened specifically for Allu Arjun and why so much attention was given to the actor in the Assembly. He alleged that Allu Arjun must have offended Reddy in some way.
Sanjay claimed there was an "internal war" within the Congress, and accused the party of lacking coordination among its ministers, particularly regarding commissions.
He alleged that the party's government was surviving on a 14% commission. He also accused Revanth Reddy of retaining his position by sending "money bags" to Delhi, and claimed that if Reddy stopped sending money, some ministers' positions would not be secure. He said that he would soon reveal the fate of three key ministers in the government.
He also claimed that all the developmental work in villages was carried out by former sarpanches, who were yet to be paid.
Sanjay also accused the Congress of repeatedly disrespecting Dr B R Ambedkar. "Why wasn't he awarded the Bharat Ratna? Why weren't the Panch Tirths established? Why did the Congress attempt to defeat Ambedkar in the Lok Sabha elections?" he asked.
