Bandi Prays Ambedkar To Protest KCR's Constitution Remarks
The Telangana BJP president held a "palabhisekham" at the Ambedkar statue in New Delhi to protest the comments of KCR that the Constitution needed to be changed.
State BJP president Bandi Sanjay Kumar today held a "palabhisekham" at the Dr B R Ambedkar statue in New Delhi to protest the comments of Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao that the Indian constitution needed to be changed.
He was accompanied by party MPs D Arvind and Soyam Babu Rao.
Speaking to media persons later, Bandi alleged that KCR was speaking without any shame. He claimed that the whole world was praising the Indian constitution, and said that the entire country was asking how KCR had become the CM of Telangana. He also said that the entire Telangana society was being forced to bow its head in shame due to his statement.
He alleged that KCR was against the Constitution as it protected the dalits and was architected by one, and alleged that the ruling TRS MPs had boycotted the address of President Ram Nath Kovind as he was a dalit.
He warned KCR that he would be destroyed if he touched the Constitution.
Referring to the comments made by KCR on the union budget and government, he said that the BJP did not have any problem if the KCR raised his objections over the budget, but took strong exception to the abusive comments made by the Chief Minister.
Referring to the statement of KCR that the union government had done great injustice to Telangana, Bandi asked KCR why he did not meet the PM during the last seven years. He claimed that the CM was just playing "dramas" in order to protect his family members.
